The Chelsea midfielder has accepted an apology from Pat Nevin and the
BBC and called on his team-mates to address the club's poor form under
Guus Hiddink
Cesc Fabregashas again moved to distance himself from suggestions he
said he would 'rather lose than win' under Jose Mourinho, and declared
the Chelseaplayers let their former manager down.
Former Chelsea player Pat Nevin apologised to Fabregas this week after
suggesting on a BBC radio show it was the Spain international who had
made the remark, according to reports back in November.
Fabregas has acknowledged the apology from Nevin, and reiterated that
he had an exceptional relationship with Mourinho.

"I can reiterate that I had an exceptionally good relationship with
Jose Mourinho as I will aim to have with any coach that I play for,"
he wrote on his official Instagram account.
"The football club is more important than any one player. We have all
let the manager and club down this year as a collective unit.
"We will get this right of that I am sure. With all your help we can
put this period behind us and make @chelseafc great again."
Fabregas is expected to be available for selection for Guus Hiddink's
first game in charge against Watford on Boxing Day
